So for Labor Day my wife and I met her parents up in Solvang California.
I had never been there and knew nothing about it. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice touristy danish settlement smack dab in the middle of California.
I loved the architecture of the buildings and we had a lot of fun walking around and eating delicious food.
Here are some pictures and stuff.
We also headed just a few miles outside of Solvang and visited this pretty cool museum detailing the history of the towns in the Santa Ynez valley.
It also had a massive Stage Coach collection, which was really cool! Something interesting was seeing some baskets from my the people that my Indian Tribe comes from. For those that don’t know, we are the Mechopda Tribe of the Maidu Indians.
